Your work is incredibly well done, and I am particularly impressed with the detail and creativity in your wall murals. Great site, I will look for your name in the future!
I love your work. Have you considered writing a book on using colored pencils for botanical art? It would be a great help if you would include equivalent colors from one colored pencil brand to another.
Wendy – Your work and teaching style are both wonderful!!! I enjoyed your “Plant Drawing for Naturalists” class very much and am anxious to study with you in the future. Best Regards – Lisa Becker
wendy-you are an amazing artist. i look at what you’ve accomplished and what you create and i am blown away. starting out by doodling on notebook covers in high school….without ever taking an art lesson…to these murals that knock your socks off…….it’s not to be believed. keep on keepin’ on…………

Your artwork is inspiring for those of us who love the botanical arts. I belong to the Chillicothe Art League (70 members at this time)and wondered what it would cost to have you do a work shop ? And if you do travel to do workshops for such groups (Ohio)?
I know I will be buying your book soon.

I just got done reading an article about you in the “Artists Magazine” (September 2009), and wanted to look at your website. Your art is fantastic! I love it! I am exploring colored pencils as a new medium, and I didn’t realize how much one could do with them until I had read the article and had seen your site.
Loved the article in Sept Artists Magazine. I have fond memories of Miss Lawrence and nature drawing. You look far too young to have studied with her. Your work is wonderful–I enjoyed seeing it.
Oh your art is just lovely! I recently stared working with colored pencils and enjoy them so much (except when my lead breaks!).
Attending one of your seminars sounds delightful. Now I have your website and will visit often!
I read your artcle in the Artist Magazine. About a year ago I became facinated with color pencile drawing. I especially like to do flowers and fruits, which I do from nature. I am ordering your book to give me more insight into this field . studied to be a fashion Illustrator in NYC many years ago, am now retired and was looking for somthing new that took a minimum amount of supplies and the least mess hence the colored penciles. Thank you for your article.
